Top Yoke Conversion

  1. Ok looking at fitting different bars, anyone done a conversion, is there a simple solution or a case of getting a new yoke made up?

  2. What model SC you got? Later bikes had higher bars and were available from DP. I think ST2,3,4 range bars fit.

  3. Mine is and early one 2007 but it does have the higher bars, but looking at putting fatbars, so need a clamp

  4. what sort of look you after?

  5. just a sit up ride rather than a low down ride

  6. how about raised clip ons? Ebay for 50 quid or so gets a 2" lift

  7. already have raised clip ons, need to change the angle so they are upward, like traditional bars, bit like this

  8. I believe you have a Sport Classic 1000 Monoposto? It may help to search t'internet for 'Sport Classic triple clamp conversions'. I think some owners have taken this route to enable them to use GT1000 bars or similar.

  9. Will have a look

  10. Found a GT yoke minus the risers in America, so sorted

  11. If the riding position on your bike ends up anything like the GT1000, you should find it to be very comfortable whilst still being a lot of fun to ride. My experience is that the GT1000 is more comfortable than the Monster I had before the GT.
