Torches good quality ones

  1. Ok so I have my fair share of torches that I have had over the years, from my good old trusty 6 cell maglight right up to my current stock of Surefire and inova. My garage Inova T4 rechargeable torch has gone pop after some 3 years of garage use, body is perfect down to the military grade 4 anodising and the crystal glass is perfect, but the electronics in it have gone and trying to get spares is costly and hard being an American torch. So I am looking at changing to a Fenix and wondered if anybody knows different?

  2. Torch.jpg How about this one, seems quite powerful :upyeah:

  4. There's a torch forum! That's brilliant...

  5. Is there no electric in Surrey?

  6. I have a LED Lenser, think its a P7. Good quality and good lumens output. A few of my friends have bought them from me after being impressed with me blinding them. I still have an old mag light, much larger and much less powerful. I think £40 ish should get you a good compact led torch, look for lumens above 200.

  7. You can't use the mains when you're dogging...

  8. I use the LED Lenser T7. Excellent torch. I have a couple of them on the bars of my mountain bike, even the darkest trail looks like broad daylight with these 2 on full beam.

Oh by the way, this thread should be Illuminating  .............................................I couldn't resist.

  9. Bright spark.....

I have a 6 cell Maglite.........not so I can see where I'm going, but to stop intruders going anywhere..........

....apart from the other things I have to stop them with....

  10. ........shouts, " don't move, my Mag lite is loaded!,"......... Is it a 12 bore torch?

  11. I have a Surefire, I think they retail for about £120 but mine was a freebie. The only thing is they take odd size batteries :-( Very good torch though.

  12. You can tell a lot about a man by the size of his maglite
