  1. Afternoon all,

Having purchased some titanium subframe bolts for my 1198, can any one advise the correct torque setting? I am going to smother the "shank" with neverseize and then loctite 243 the threads, does that sound ok?

    Cheers

would i use loctite not on titanium(but thats just me)
as for torque i just used two spanners and nice and tight.
mine are still on, not a 1198 but a 916.
    just my 2p.

  3. Carlsalter.com got a full service
Manual section. Free 1098 manual will have all torque settings.

  4. Thanks Brian and Steve, the service manual is great for reference, thanks (can't find the subframe bolt Torque in section c3 where it says it should be!) but I guess its Italian :)

  8. In the workshop manual under "frame". If the manual you have was a download of the 'net, it's probably the draft copy that got leaked. It's got a lot of errors in it and missing info.
