  3. Passed test in November.... Did the 125cc thing for year before...Now trying to master M600 loving every minute of it. Wish I had done it years ago.

  4. I passed last summer since then had a ybr125, a new triumph bonneville se, and just ordered a monster 1100 ! Think i am obsessed!

  5. Spooky I love the Bonneville was sitting on one today just admiring... Am a little obsessed with my 600 will stick with her for the time being..Not into buying a bigger engine size, sounds like you have the makings of a collecton there..lol.

  6. Bonne is a cool bike, just fancy somthing a bit more "young" ! Hence the monster.

  10. Hello and welcome, my first big bike was a Monster 600 Dark on a Y plate, I loved her dearly, I have only just traded her for a Suzuki V-Strom. The Monster is a beautiful bike, full of personality and a joy to ride, I only sold mine because I needed something more reliable for starting during the winter. I hope that you have as much pleasure from your bike as I had with mine.

    This is a really good fun site by the way, enjoy.

  11. Hi and welcome ,great to see more ladies on here, when I started on two wheels in the mid 70's I was treated as something weird, these days its accepted.

  12. Yeas, but as I stand 5' 10" in my socks most people still think I am a man until I take my helmet off, could be something to do with the fact that as I am so tall I can only get mens bike clothes to fit.

  13. Thanks for the welcome, so far I am having a ball on my M600 she is R reg but in showroom condition would never have been able to afford a Ducati otherwise.
    Good to know I 've picked a good site although I have to admit to not being able to chat mechanics yet...

  16. I struggled to find a bike I could sit on comfortably as i'm 5 4" and I swear the 4" is leg.......The Monster was the only one I sat on and it fitted without being lowered...

    Be good to chat here to other weirdo's lol.....

    I'm looking to get a monster for ease of riding I fell in love with the SS
    I'm 5ft 7 and I'm sure didn't look female who can in leathers not exactly flattering lol.
    Enjoy the site it's full of weirdos 
