So looking for a change from my 1098s track bike. Time to put it away and admire it. Want to keep with Ducati, yet to ride the V4 but thinking going for the 1299 due to it being proven so far and readily available parts. Any suggestions....
I tend to stick to Euro track days only, I'm swaying more to the 1299. The only bit that's putting me off with the 1299 is that I don't want to spend x amount of money to get it ready to then still be out done in 12 months time by the V4's coming a long...
IME and IMHO go 2nd gen on any Ducati new model, as the first is simply user testing mules for Ducati to sell to early adopters who don’t care about the fact they constantly return it for warranty work
im running a 1299, and its a great bike, but Noise is a starting to be an issue. if i knew what i know now i would have not wasted the money on a Akrapovic system, and left the exhaust as standard
