Have picked up a Gsxr 600k1 that I'm going to use as a track bike. Most of the time it'll be used at Brands. Do any of you know of any decent track day forums for banter and getting parts? as in spare wheels, track fairings..... Would obviously love to take the SF but think my heart would give out by the end of pit lane!
Don’t know of any TD forums that may help you. Might bump into you as I have been known to go to Brands on occasion… Get the SF out there, just don’t drop it!

Trackdayriders.co.uk Be careful on interchange of parts from a K1/2 1000 to 600/750. They might look the same but there are differences in the height of the engine so fairings especially are not interchangeable
Trackday addicts is okay, but yes there are some SERIOUS bell ends floating around on there, some of the posts make you fearful that you are out on track with people that ride bikes like they do! anyway, good luck with it.

Always good advice at hand though. Loads of stuff for sale too. They will give you some stick on there for owning a GSXR but just ignore it and don’t take the bait!
Haha, I’ll probably will be going so slow they won’t see me! New to me bike, new tyres, no abs and no technology…..what could go wrong?
