Is there anymore experience with the noise level at trackdays? from what i hear there is a mod in the airbox that would take the level down quit considerably... any info on that? grtz Koen
all I know is that there is a disused airfield just outside our village used fro trackday experiences and that noise levels are actively monitored and that certain elements of one village in particular do have an axe to grind with noise and it has become a political issue ignoring noise issues ultimately does affect the ability of facilities to offer track days Mallory Park is currently under threat because of a small minority of residients who bought properties knowing there is a track there trying to change the rules
Yes this is a common PITA occurence... here ZOLDER, our only flemish track btw, has suffered from this big time.. Problem is that no politician has the nuts to go tell those few they knew beforehand... The same reality is now even going on with Brussels airport... we do live in loss of control on the one hand in general and an ever growing tendency to forbid and clamp down everything.. its like the more stress people endure, the fewer occasions there are to blow of steam.... now as the movie says : something gotta give... le'ts hope the neighbourgs can find some music in the rumble we all love so dearly!
