  1. need to buy a tracktor. 0 previouse knowlege and experience. spent last few weeks looking on the internet and just getting lost. loads of fraud ads on ebay.
anyone knows anything? any advise appreciated. need to do variouse work in my garden including pulling out tree tunks so i assume needs to be 4 wheel drive and with quite a bit of power,
was going to spend up to 5k£ but looking around looks like nothing available at this price so budget will have to go up. but cant be more then £10k
going to join some sort of tracktor forum i think but maybe someone on here knows anything?

  2. I have no knowledge, but I imagine £5K tractor later sells for £3.6K so can't you hire someone to do the the work for £1.5K?

  6. I always thought that the latter was for hooning at the farm & the former a beam, typically applied to Klingon spaceships by Capt James T. Kirk!

  7. just a translation thing Yev? - Uzbek for example.
we should be lucky - in Zulu it's a Ugandaganda (Google allegedly)

anyway, i'm not helping with Tractor experience, there is someone on here and will try and tag. :upyeah:

  8. @BIG M - I think yev is looking at the "small stuff" but you might know.

  9. It was a genuine question, thought maybe it was a type of tractor with tracks.

  10. yip, i can hear them now giving it the "fug sake, i ordered a bloomin tracktor and they sent me this b....ding tractor.

  11. A tractor is a but vague. Size does matter. I had a Kubota B6000 which is small but a proper piece of kit.
I would suggest to go to a farm auction.

  12. No that’s a tracked tractor.

  13. Kubota ("B" series apparently) is all that came to mind for me for that price range.

  14. Yeah the Kubota stuff is pretty good.

  15. I have been using a Kubota 4wd at one of my clients jobs. Cant help much tbh, just to say, careful if the terrain is not flat. They are not the most stable of things and with the weight, once they start to go there is no stopping them.
