  1. WOW, I'm so glad I decided to keep my 2016 touring S multi

I had sold my bike that I've owned since new but pulled out whilst on the way to delivering it as thought that getting a 1260 for an extra 5k wouldn't have been worth it so decided to spend a little bit of cash to upgrade the bike

I got it mapped at https://www.cjsracing.co.uk/ in Bristol an yesterday was the 1st time I had ridden it since being done in November at honestly the bike is like a rocket. smooth and so much quicker ... love it

also, upgraded the front disk to serie oro, with new pads front and back and bleed all brake lines and clutch

repacked the Mivv exhaust end can

think its now gonna be a keeper as does everything I want :upyeah:

  3. didnt know what to expect from the re map but jeez it a different bike ... couldnt believe it :upyeah:

  4. Looks great!

Is there anything to be gained from having a bike with the standard exhaust mapped?

  5. not sure but the 1st thing to do is remove the exup valve but you have to remember these bikes are retracted to comply with emission bo!!oxs

  6. Yeah, the exhaust valve has been removed already. I wonder if a map would eek out a few more bhp, but more importantly, smooth the throttle response out and remove the flat spot around 5K revs?

  7. I would say definitely improve it
I had a bit of lag around 4k revs and that's now gone. Runs perfect

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  8. I'm going out on a limb here but best thing I've done to my bike 100% behind the remap and CJS no connection to him but I'm over the moon with the results

  9. Totally agree, when my Multi went to Ducati for a service a few of the guys that work there took it for a spin and they were all blown away with the difference.
It’s not as noticeable with my DDX but at least I know the fuelling is right.

  10. Similar story for the 1260 even with the plug and play map that comes with the full race termi system (despite still using OEM header pipes). It transforms the bike as it removes all the BS euro emissions restrictions.

I have thought about getting my bike properly mapped but I doubt the cost to benefit would be that great over the termi map.

Glad you're enjoying the new life of the bike, it's as it should have been from the factory. Now go ride!
