  1. Someone on the .MS forum has posted they had an upgrade to the bike ECU / Display Software and the trip meter issue is now resolved.

So who is going to be calling their dealers tomorrow??

  2. If my experience is anything to go by (software update last week), the problem isn't fixed :(

  3. Maybe its a ploy to get you doing impulse ducati shopping?

    ..always re-visiting the dealership..

  4. Just checked with Ducati Aylesbury: they had a service bulletin today and no mention of a software update to resolve the trip reset on ignition off when in miles.

  5. Do all you guys have the S model as I've had no problems with the poorer version with the std non TFT dash.

  6. Yes, S Model, as per signature, which is a good idea to setup - hint to all who haven't :)

  7. Apparantly its ok if its in kph. Ducati MS is American.

  8. That's interesting as on my tour it worked perfectly (in km) but looked last week and it had reset , tried again and reset.
I thought maybe it was intermittent but if it is a km mph thing then it makes sense. Should be an easy fix

  9. Just had my first service from Snells, Trip meter is now sorted after an upgrade, no more resting itself when dash is in MPH,,, however the fuel sender is now starting to play up, getting the modified one fitted although they are on back order because i think every Multi in the world is getting these replaced - Happy Dayz

  10. What's the symptoms of the faulty fuel sender. Had a few hiccups with power whilst in the dolomites. But after spraying all my leads and battery with WD40 seemed OK

  11. The main symptom on mine is the fuel gauge goes down as expected and when you refill, initially it still showed 9 miles and flashing red bar then the fuel gauge started to creep up after a 45 min ride to a max of 53 mile range. Filled up again and the gauge showed 31 miles then slowly sank to 6 miles range and flashing red bar. Filled up again and still sat at 6 miles and red bar.
Spoke to OYB and booked in for a new sender.

  12. Sorry I thought the fuel sender was the pump Not the sensor / gauge. Lol

  13. It is the sensor...Im having exactly the same symptoms as JimVee

  14. Indeed it's true, I was at my dealers yesterday for new tyres and a oil change I asked them to plug the laptop to see if there was any updates and there is a big update/bug fixes
    Mph trip works fine now
Despite what the manual says 9k service I always like to change oil at least every 4k just for peace of mind

  15. Krumper which dealer was that? The dealer I used said they tried the update but couldn't get the code to work...confused now! Was hoping it was going to be sorted.

  16. Mine does this too. Fine in KM, only in Miles.

  17. All dealerships should have the new updates sent from Ducati
I have tested and re-tested the trip in mph and kph all works spot on now, your dealer not having the code bemuses me!!!
My local dealer is Preston Lancs and I have to say they have outstanding with me to date.

  18. Got bike out of garage for the first time in two weeks and it flashed up reset date. After resetting date and time noticed the trip had reset it's self. First time I have had this and the bike was on charge while stood in garage. Rang shop and they said they had a update and would do it while it was there having a recall checked.

  19. Had another software update yesterday and the trips resetting problem now appears to be fixed.......just the fuel gauge / sensor to be sorted now!
