Trip To The Black Forest

  1. Hi chaps, just looking for a bit of info.
    Going on a short 4 day trip to Baden Baden / ring. First night is in Baden .
    Looking for a quick way there, I was thinking A26- A4. As we will have lots of twisties when we get there I'm not fussed about the motorway but was wondering how much it would cost in tolls ? And about how long it would take from the tunnel ? 5-6 hrs is that about right.

  2. You could try using the Via Michelin site for route planning. It will give you toll charges.

  3. Calais to Baden-Baden is just over 400 miles. If motorways all the way, tolls come to about 50 Euros. Six hours is pushing it - I suggest allow seven hours.

  4. Yes, 7 hours seems about right, Fuel, smokes, piss stops etc.
