I just grind the fuel tank and clear coated it as I wanted to keep the steel look at it 34E4E5E6-6DAB-4F7C-B5E4-DC51C3C1F3CD.jpeg E0A8C6D7-6496-49EB-A577-08B5D1730520.jpeg AE59319B-7A48-463F-BED5-A92EFB51D529.jpeg 0A56369F-B105-412C-93F9-FDB33480E8DC.jpeg A87F4B39-6E36-46D0-9BE7-AE5F55688539.jpeg 9BFEAD40-650A-4577-B0CF-DC90CC969C73.jpeg 8275CD68-5F6C-4BB6-995C-267FD75AF05C.jpeg 90EB45A8-29C8-4EFC-9026-E12857FC4550.jpeg A360539D-4100-4A77-BE06-8B4A2DA100A1.jpeg B09B2722-9E13-4E27-BAE4-D2BD7843EABB.jpeg 1EBAA913-3A00-4458-B0F7-8964E464E7D2.jpeg BBEFDFEA-BC92-4699-BEE5-B902D374239C.jpeg DA809C1B-9C7A-4446-88A9-7BD39FA1B32C.jpeg

  5. That looks a very busy environment with all those vehicles packed in a tight space.

  6. Nice work going on there

  8. Me too!

@El Vikingo Tropical Another great job. Purists will all moan, but when did they ever do anything else. Enjoy your wonderful bike. Bonnie's are pretty small compared to most bikes these days!

  9. Yes, they doesn’t looks big this days, but it is definitely heavy comparing with more modern bikes..
The bike has now past MOT and runs sweet!
The photo is from a local classic bike show where I exposed three of my bikes, The Bonni had a award for restoration.

  10. Well, that's a coincidence - I just bought this and some boxes of bits that hopefully makes a complete T140V:)

  13. Some of us on here grew up with bikes that had the gear change on the righthand side of the bike :D Andy

  15. Yes but its not the location of the gear change that is concerning to the *average rider, its the change from one side to another. I have ridden both and won't be in a rush to do it again. Of course you have too - which do you prefer?

    *some might say modern. LOL

  16. Fortunately, I have no need for a preference, all of my current bikes are ‘modern’ and the likelihood of me voluntarily throwing my leg over a ‘traditional’ bike is a choice between “you must be joking” and “not a chance” :D Andy

  19. If you want a more round side cover ( more like the fuel tank style) instead of the square plastic oem piece I have the mould… 684A91C4-CBC1-41EA-8270-C22C87E49CF1.jpeg 6992BFED-447D-485A-8F0E-887BF3C8D8F1.jpeg 79708137-5841-41E6-ADF2-B87FA5653A0F.jpeg

  20. Thanks, your curvy panels certainly are a massive improvement over the standard ones! This will be my attempt at a street flat-tracker, so my side panels will be 'basic'.
