Got up this morning feeling pretty good and thought that a ride out on the bike would be nice.Looked at the grey skies and ummed and erred and decided to do it. Put all the gear on,got bike out of garage, noticed a few small spots of rain on Sons car-that's ok it's hardly anything.Got about 5 mins into my ride and on came the drizzle.Moral of story is don't faff about looking at the weather, just get out there while you can.Perhaps one should just wear motorbike kit all the time, thus cutting out the faffing about!
Riding in the wet is good practice, teaches you throttle and brake control ! Came to work on the CBR 1000F - wet roads but still great fun ! The Avon Storm ST tyres inspire confidence, but it is wise to choose the "non-farming" roads if you can ! Must get the 900SS started - it's been stood too long and doesnt like cold weather !
