Tyre Warmer Coil Repair

  1. Anyone know of a tyre warmer repair service who can fix a broken filament in a rear Capit tyre warmer?

Split in 2 places. If they weren’t such expensive warmers I’d just replace them but have to try fix them first.

  2. Had similar on front and rear Thermal Technology that were less than 2 years old. Sent them back, not expecting to hear anything and so far, I haven’t heard anything. Reverted to (relatively cheap) Crescent Racing branded Capits. Andy

  3. Thinking about it, IIRC, the Crescent large size, didn’t fit a 200/60 which is why I went to TT for the Panigale V4. Andy

  4. I had similar on my diamond rear when I left it switched on. I called diamond and they said it couldn't be repaired, but the do sell them individually, which saved a few bob

  5. Yep, I’d be filing those in the bin. I lunched a brand new pair of Capits. Left em on when I’d gone out for a session… doh!!

I considered buying a new set a ‘fine’ for dozy bastardness….
