1260 Tyres - Sticky Ones!

  1. I know this has been done to death but I wanted to get 1260 owner's thoughts.

I swapped my BSTs over from my 1200 to my 1260 and the tyres (Diablo Rosso IIIs) don't feel as good as they did on the 1200. I'm getting a tipping in sensation at low speed which unsettles me and the bike! The tyres were great on the old bike.

I'm about due a new rear and thought of getting something different at both ends. I was looking at Michelin Pilot Power 2CT, does anyone have experience of them or recommendations of another type?

I'm not a huge mileage man, the bike is used on fast A/B roads over a weekend, so long life isn't a huge factor. The said, I think I could tear off a Super Corsa in just over a 1000 miles so I don't want to go down that route.

    All suggestions are gratefully received!

  2. S22 Bridgestones are a revelation IMHO , loved them and will definitely put some on my bike when next needed.
Can also recommend Metzeler MRR's , decent mileage , I did however prefer the front S22 feeling , you wont be disappointed .

  3. If you want to stick with Pirelli's (no pun), step-up to Diablo Rosso Corsa II.
They're 50/50 R/T tires with a bit more thread and durability than SC's.

  4. Supercorsa ‘s :upyeah:

  5. Metzeler M7RRs. Andy
