  1. Just had my Daisy through the MOT. Sailed through, but I need a front tyre....

    Recommendations please!!!

  2. I recommend you stop naming your bike.....Weirdo !!! :grinning:

PS, same as the back till you do them both

  3. HAHA! It's something that's stuck after the kids started naming our cars...

  4. Send them to boarding school and tell them they can't return till they/you have learnt man law forum etiquette :upyeah::D

PS, same applies, keep the front same as back unless changing both ??

  5. Cheers mate, I've only had the bike just over a year and it seems the back tyre was replaced just before I got it. The front not.. But they are matching Pirelli Scorpions

  6. I'd stick with the Scorpion trails till they both due. For info, and I have used them, the Scorpion trail 2 are much better than the originals, quite dear though as I recall. I like the BT023's but tyres are personal things, I get long life and very good grip from them, there are some better in the wet, and some better in the dry, but as an all rounder, I really rate the BT023's.

  7. If the rear still has life and you like the tyres, just throw the same on the front. Bear in mind that you'll probably get 2 rears to a front so if you want to change both, now is the time.

No good throwing the same on now and going until the rear is toast as you would probably still have loads of life left in the front. Throw the same on now and change both in 2 rears time :upyeah: (unless you have the cash to splash or can sell the rear)

  8. I do like the tyres, it's taken me a bit to get used to the wide bars on the Multi as I've had sports bikes and an SV650S before the Multi, now, I love how flickable it is. Commuting home the other night was an absolute joy to be honest!

  9. When it comes to replace both, the Scorpion Trail 2's are a big improvement I think.

  12. Scorpion Trail 2s are a bit of an improvement on on original Scorpion Trails, but still not great. They are just trailie enough to spoil them as road tyres, but not trailie enough to be any good if you actually wanted to ride trails. I change the OEM Scorpions for Michelin Pilot Roads (currently PR4s) as soon as convenient.

  13. What are they like for longevity, I'm not hard on tyres as a rule but with it being a heavyish bike do they square off quickly?

  14. pr4s last well, but are on the expensive side if you don't do a lot of wet riding, BT023 still a great all rounder, but on this forum, you'll most likely get every brand thrown at ya, best for now just to go like for like if you're only replacing the front.

  15. I have just purchased a 1260 Mulitstrada Pikes Peak. The Multi PP will replace my Panigale for occasional two-up riding to give a little harmony to my spousal relationship. What's your thinking about replacing the OEM Scorpions with Rosso III right off the showroom floor? I don't do dirt and tour very far. Mostly all fun riding and hooliganism combined with a weekend getaway with the Mrs.

  16. The scorpions are surprisingly capable. They warm up nice and fast, I used to bimble through the village I live in and it was on its ear the first long left hander of the national limit.

You'd have to be very quick to show them up and with pillion, you'll appreciate the extra centre tread strength
