Like this or similar the 1299 fe one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/401715063923 does it reduce the heat issue everyone talks about? Too loud? My instinct tells me it’s as quiet or quieter than the standard one as it’s longer pipes (?) and exits higher
I got them, yes, they reduce the heat, they are still loud af tho but you'll pass the noise test with some baffles on at uk track days
Still think that’s the best looking system bar none.....Especially on Paul’s stealthy Panigale Stunning!
Undecided. I remember seeing them at the DUK day and thinking they look great. Zard do some like the 1299fe that are ‘reasonable’ value given some want thousands for a used termi system
No mate. Bike in mid stripdown at the moment. Will need a clean up and check over then I was gonna advertise on here.
Let me know what your best price is. Wasn’t really looking to change originally but who knows... do you need a map with this?
I'll drop you a pm once its all off and checked. You will need mapped. I ran it with a rapidbike with a dyno tune, but that unit is already sold on.
i have the D170 system on my 1299, the 1199 i have, has the AIS system deactivated, it reduces the heat as far as i can feel the difference so far.
If Bradders doesn’t want it then I could be interested,I live in Essex anyone recommend a dyno shop who can supply, fit and set up the rapidbike?
By far the best looking system.... it just looks like it belongs just wish they made a similar system for the V4
Doh, go on then. Any excuse for a bit of show-offery...... Not to everyone's taste, but I like it. Sounds the bollox too. Even though scrutineering at 90% of UK tracks wouldn't agree....
Was watching a vid yesterday from DUK day this year where fella rode new V2 and V4. V4 was 30mph faster at the of the straight...!
Yeah, it's a bit rampant the V4... Especially the 'early' 2018 models like this. I believe they've smoothed out power on the later stuff.
Not ridden the later bike, but by all accounts they have really doled down the lower power delivery in the first 3 gears. To the point that it won’t even pick the front wheel up under hard acceleration! I’d be really disappointed.... would sooner have the full fat version any day, even if it is a handful to ride. Personally I find it more challenging and teaches you more about throttle and bike control
