Some of you may know that I am building a cafe racer from my 92 750ss http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f4/750ss-cafe-racer-first-time-project-313/ I have been thinking about exhaust and like the look of several of the universal exhausts that are for sale Whilst the following may not be the ones I buy eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace Apart from any fitting or quality issues, what problems would I encounter? Would I lose power or anything? Regards
Nah......not one of them surely?......For a caff racer, the only zorst has to be reverse cone megas. AL.
Hell yes! - as fitted to my 470four... I think it was meant for a BSA? Trimmed the alloy end cap down for a bit more vocal drama.
You want the SPARK Universal GP exhaust........here is a pic.....they come complete with dB killer, and sound fantastic...ask Ruffs here, he has them on his 1000SS...
That's not a reverse cone mega, that's a half a reverse cone.... this is a reverse cone mega......or nearly anyway, I preferred the ones with the removeable ally end cap, because you could remove the packing easily.... AL
Thanks for all those interesting replies :biggrin: 275 dollars, let me think about it errrrrrr......................no......they do look fantastic though At the moment I am after getting the bike on the road to use, so expensive paintjobs, exhausts and wire wheels are out The post does say that the ones in the link are not necessarily the ones I will buy So will they effect the bike at all?
