My account got locked when i was being hacked by all and sundry earlier this year. Any tips on getting it unlocked its becoming a bit of a pain trying to shop online without it. n I had a number but when i called it sounded extremely *dubious. (808 145 3768) I also think they've blocked my IP addy as they wont let me open a new one either, which i didnt really want to do anyway.
Thanks @Ducbird but it was locked a while ago, I’m fairly sure I didn’t get an email and there’s no way to resend it. I phoned that number above and a guy answered but it didn’t seem to be an official Amazon line and he straight away asked me for sensitive info so I put the phone down. One of those “who phoned me?” websites seems to confirm it is actually Amazon though so I may give it another go next week. What a nightmare it is trying to speak to someone in these big companies now. “Our customers find speaking to an online bot more useful” etc… NO THEY FUCKING DONT!!
This is a bit of a mare, but can be done. they don’t usually block ip, more likely a browser cookie have you tried an incognito window, and done the reset password process yet?
May be, if you don’t care about the history and the payment mechanism is cancelled, just open a new one
