Just back from 7 days away and every day saw alot of very committed riding alot of the time in the pulling 7 to 10000 rpm and at very high speeds too in all covering 2400 miles. I checked my oil level going out and was about 75% full to the top marker,now it is not very far off the minimum mark.No other strange engine noises to remark about,so is this oil consumption acceptable with such unrestrained riding.I should say that in normal uk riding oil consumption is about zero.
Hi speed riding will use more oil Michel......engine runs hotter, clearances increase.....just top up the oil....she'll be reet !
