As I was passing Ducati Aylesbury today, I thought I would bend in and have a nosey, as you do. I was surprised to see that they did not have a single 848 in there apart from a brand new 848 evo. Anybody read anything into this or is it just that they have all been nicked! ! I just found it odd, thats all!
A while ago I looked and there were blooming loads for sale - think about 70 odd. Recently I looked again and that had dropped to about 30 in the 200 mile radius from me. I think its just the 899 coming along, a lot of 848 owners sold theirs and now it has calmed down again....
There are still plenty of 848s around, but yeah the rush to drop em in favour of the 899 has been and gone. People will still trade up. I would imagine you'd still be looking at around 7k for a second hand one....which is still a lot of cash
