Hello to all from a forum newbie, I have set my heart recently on buying my first ever Ducati. I had an array of different bikes over the last 20 years mostly big trailies/tourers and have just parted company this month with a Triumph Tiger that kept me safely contented for the last few years. I need some help in finding a current price guide for used Multistrada's. My budget is around 5k-6k or so. I've spent a month surfing and have found it difficult to find a baseline for the used multistrada 1000/1100. Does anyone know of a link current used Multistrada book prices. I have looked at 1000 DS's which the low mileage and newer / upgraded ones can be anything up to 5k. Equally the 1100s which I think is my most likely purchase start at around that and go up to 8k. This then creeps into the early 1200 Multi price territory, which naturally I am also now considering. For some reason, before buying my Triumph Tiger 3 years ago, there seemed to be much less disparity in the used price market compared to the Ducati - has anyone else found that?? Anyway, if anyone knows of any useful guide information or links it would be really appreciated. Cheers from a hopefully soon-to-be proud Mutley owner! Jason
Jason, There are a couple of mutley 1100s's for 6k and a couple of stockers, these are about the going price I would say, see bike trader. The one that looks ok to me is the one at Brindley Honda
i would definitely go for an early sorted 1200 if you can. It's a completely different bike to the 1100 and I think if you ask any Ducati enthusiast they'll tell you that it's a far superior machine in every way. Best of luck.
