A friend of mine has a new (nov 2022) V2 Multi, the bike has done 1600 miles and is fully up to date with services. a few weeks ago he suffered a small low speed tumble on it. The only damage has bneen to the L/H hand guard and the L/H mirror, that's now been repaired. On a ride out a couple of weeks ago he has found that the quick shifter has stopped working and that the bike will not rev past 8K revs???? The bike hits 8k and flashes the red rev lights at the top of his dash and will not rev any more. There's no engine fault light showing on the dash and when it was plugged into DDS at the dealers there was'nt any fault registered in the ecu? The dealers are scratching thier heads as they have'nt seen anything like this before. Has anyone had this fault or any ideas on what coulsd have caused this? I'm hoping Nelly will be along shortly with some magical words of wisdome
