well it's a standard V4S with some DP add ons and carbon wheels right, so no more than an equivalent SP ? Surely... (T.F.I.C)

 

i reckon its going to be gorgeous.......and love the brushed ally tanks on some of the bikes like the SFSP. wanted it on the V4RS but the matt white etc has grown on me

 

£10k on top from the model down is my take.

 

When did a 916 ever have a brushed alloy tank? Tarts handbag comes to mind

 

As nice as it is its just another V4 with a few parts on it.
A fully sorted V2 would have been a better homage for the 916.
Just my opinion tho.

 

Has nothing in common with a 916 so just a PR exercise and yet another, uncalled for "special" . Soon standard bikes are going to be rarer than specials.

It’s a SP2 with a different paint job and some ‘916’ stickers on it. It’s a limited edition (limited number produced) and apparently that makes any vehicle ‘special’ these days. I think you get a cover with it as well, so there’s that…

I had been told only 44 are coming to the UK,

 

I’m quite excited about it, July delivery. Replaces a V4 SP, imagine it’ll feel much the same but having gone from not loving the look at first to I’ve got to have it didn’t take long.
