Hello All, A rather exciting week for me coming up...I've been without a bike for the last 4 months having sold my Guzzi California and since then I've been filling the piggybank. So 3 weeks ago I emptied it at my local dealership (in France) and it's ready to be picked up this Friday. Got an Rx7 Ducati Corse V3 thrown in as well which was very nice of them! I'm now counting the hours. And the weather looks good for the next few weeks...dryish and around 20 centigrade so it'll be great riding weather.
Congratulations on your new purchase. Seen one for real yesterday, lovely looking bikes. Health to ride.
Congratulations, I’m sure you will love it, they’re amazing bikes!. Is the power still limited on new bikes in France or has that law been scrapped?.
Thank-you, I'm sure I will! Regarding the power limitation; well the 106bhp limit was scrapped well over a year ago but....they've just reduced the speed limit on all national roads from 90kph to 80kph (50mph). So they've been coining in on the fines though as many of the speed signs still say 90kph. So I'll probably be in first gear a lot of the time (but not really)!
It’s a well known fact that speeding fines are a cash cow, but reducing the speed limits to such nanny levels! That’s insane!
