V4 Dry Clutch - Questions And Advice

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Lbutt1989, Mar 17, 2021.

  1. Has anyone upgraded to a dry clutch I know there is no sort of gains other than that magnificent sound?

Is there anyone in the northwest who could recommend doing this ?.

    Few questions :

    1. Any disadvantages?
    2. Best to go for?
    3. Labour times? Sort of cost minus clutch to change?

    Thanks in advance guys :grinning:

  2. Ducati offer a conversion kit. Depending on your engine number, you will also need a replacement side case. With a V4 Corse, you might be fine but the information is here, https://www.ducati.com/gb/en/accessories/ACC011669. IIRC, you cannot buy this straight from STM. There is however, this, https://www.edovignaracing.com/en/l...i-panigale-1100-v4---dry-tool-v4-free-93.html. I have the Ducati conversion kit and it’s better IMO but my S is a track bike. I had mine fitted as part of other servicing work so best you talk to your dealer about costs and remember to budget for a set of one use, magnesium case bolts at about £4.75 each. Andy
