Look closer. That is a multistrada front end, you can clearly see the radar module. As they've already released the MS V4 Rally, I'm betting this is a V2 radar MS.
Indeed, but the V2 Panigale was brought in line with the V4. Same business model, interchangeable parts, less tooling/manufacturing costs.
Don’t think the V2 shares many parts with the V4. The front bodywork and screen are completely different.
The V2 was only updated a year ago. I would be surprised if they did it again just one year later. But who knows.
Didn't see the Rally coming either though did we? Suspension, brakes, wheels, mirrors, levers, clip ons, dash, rear section panels, rear seat unit, plate holder, wind screen and probably a whole ton of stuff left on the shelf from the 1199/1299's. Far more in common than you think. I can just see them bringing parity between the MS V2 and V4 like closing the gap. I guess my point is if they are aiming for an SP imagine all the cancelled orders on PP's that people are still waiting on?
I'm sure there are plenty that can't stomach the PPv4 price and would go for a smaller version. There is a little gap in pricing now around the 17-19k mark. All that has to be done then is make a long waiting list for that model too and people will keep their place in the first queue. Still this one was titled "This is Racing" so are we looking at a Panigale with radar.
Someone else has done this too, lightened the picture so you can clearly see its a Pikes Peak. I’m still of the opinion it’s a fake.
Seems likely as there is nothing on the Ducati website that I can see. What date was the PP announced last year?
This was the poster for last Octobers PP. And is the start image for the release video also. A quick search of google for Ducati 10.10.22 and Ducati Hydrabad have been posting a picture like this on twitter a couple of days ago.
Yep - think you're right. The Ducati website has been updated with the release of Episode Four 'This is Racing' scheduled for tomorrow:
Yeah a stock PP image from last year and combined with the date being the same as Ducati's and people ran with that. Add a bit of saturation to the above and you get.
