V4 V4 Specifications: Dealer Info

  2. The weight distribution is very interesting as all race teams and many track riders use a tank extender on the current Panigale to put the riders weight further back. It stopped the many low sides that a lot of people were having early on. I wonder how having more weight at the front is going to effect the bike?
     
  3. Think that weight distribution is static. With rider on, that'd all change. Centre of gravity has moved more central and lower if I understood right?
     
  4. I wonder if the rider position is very different to the current Panigale, it looks similar but hard to tell I guess? The trail, wheelbase, and rake are all a little larger on the V4, presumably to help tame the crazy power figures on the new bike. That would make it slower to change direction in theory but should make it a bit more manageable at the limit than the current loveable wild child and easier for people to feel at home riding it.

  5. Riding position felt similar to the V2 Panigale when I had a try at EICMA. Not to extreme and quite comfortable with nice wide bars.

  6. I did the same. It felt like any other Ducati sportsbike! I ride with knees, elbows and feet tucked in and head under the bubble, like you would when you were trying to screw the most out of your first 50.
