  1. Trading in my s1000xr Bmw shame on you denying vibe. Always bee inline 4 (except bought Panigale V2 last year). Test rode V4 back to back with 1260S today. V4 smooth engine could feel bass of power, suspension silky went in to buy V4s bought 1260s instead- low down grunt also food. Why - steering much quicker with that 17 inch front cf 19.
Yes V4 is updated Screen which is lovely heated seat too (but my bums never get cold before my fingers/toes) save myself 5K and £500 insurance a year - goes towards fuel, trips and rubber
when V4 gets 17 inch front I will change

  2. Glad to hear that you got to test both Meng, interesting to hear you went with the 1260. I doubt that you'd regret your decision either way.

  3. I wanted & went to buy the V4 - it wasntt just cost (could have borrowed more)
1260 just sharper on front end - I guess it is the 17 inch wheel

  4. That’ll put that cat among the pigeons! A wise choice though. :upyeah:

  5. I was surprised Myself I have a v2 , R9T, s1000xr owned fire blades ,R1, SP1, blackbird, pan European, 1200rt etc
Now looking at all things 1260 accessories etc

  6. I’ve had a lot of bikes, and the 1260 is by far the best. I’m a serial bike changer, and was prepared to take some stick and get a V4, but it leaves me cold. They’ll have to pull out all the stops on the pikes peak to make me want to get rid of my 1260.
