V4 V4s

  1. I finally took my 2019 V4S out for a little spin earlier. This was the first time since purchasing it back in mid November.
It's fitted with the full titanium Akra exhaust and map.
Is the low down throttle response normal due to the fly by wire. It felt as if there was a misfire or being starved of fuel and had to keep blipping the throttle when moving along at lower speeds.
If it's the fly by wire, is there a fix for it or do I have to just live with it and adjust my wrist accordingly.
I was thinking is it old fuel but as soon as the revs rise a bit it sorts itself out.

  2. If it hasn’t been ridden much recently, it might just be a bit of stale fuel, mine does it if it hasn’t been ridden over winter. Normally a full tank and nice quick road to clear it

  3. I'm hoping it's as simple as that. Not sure how long the bike hadn't been used before I bought it, so it could be stale fuel !.

  4. I must admit i tend start mine up fairly regularly even if it’s just to warm it up. The 998 is worse if i don’t start that regularly

  5. I had the v4 and v4s in the past and they both survived through winter with only one start up. Had no issues low down in revs as the v4 bikes are smooth compared to the twins.
At last after all the niggles last year with my 1299, I went out today after its winter slumber and it worked perfectly hooorraaahhhh.
