I've been searching the net, books etc and cannot seem to find the definitive answer as there seems to be loads of ideas on this but what should the valve clearances be??????? Reading the Haynes manual it depends on if it's a rebuild or adjustment, wether you want to go with one blokes idea or another's all very confusing :tired: so was just wondering what I should set them too..... And also I presume the cams make a difference too?... 916 with standard A1 cams 996 with T1 cams Thanks

Thanks so much guys especially mr R mines a 916 bip so presume that would be the same as the strada and sorry if I appear very stupid but you say "running clearances" I presume at rebuild is the same???? Looked at them kits very tempted but expensive, but over time I'm sure they pay for themselves
