Hi Does anyone know the valve clearances for the 748R,Just reading the factory workshop manual for the 748R, I must be missing something it tells you how to check them but I cannot find a mention of the actual clearances, many thanks

Thanks guys for the information much appreciated I took the engine out to do the valves and belts, I checked the vertical cylinder exhaust valves first and found 2 of the collets had broken, so well worth checking
It's a very common problem that happens in hard/high revved Desmoquatro's. Replace the OEM 1/2 rings with MBP Collets, wave goodbye to this happening ever again and extend the mileage between valve adjustments. Steve R
