The tail unit on the 1299 differs from that on the 1199. Has anyone tried fitting the Ventura rack for an 1199 onto a 1299? Ventura themselves do not currently list a fitment for the 1299. When I asked them why not they said that they haven't yet been able to source a 1299 to see if the existing 1199 kit works, and if not how to produce a kit specifically for the 1299.
Check out the system by 'Blaze'. Very smart looking and getting good reviews. I'm going for the Blaze panniers and a nice medium size North-face bag in red sitting across the pillion seat and covering the panniers. Should easily give me 60-80 litres of storage.
The Kriega is a no go on the 1299 at the moment, I spoke to them at the Excel this year.. Shame coz it's a cracking piece of kit IMO.
