Wales, Brecon And Mid

  1. I'm doing a day trip soon, I usually have breakfast in Brecon then head on the b4520 to Garth then on to Tregaron, then the b4343 up to devils bridge then head back south through Elan valley. Can anyone recommend any other decent roads? I don't mind which way, would be good to try some different scenery
    Thanks

  2. Crossgates to Newtown A643 I think it is. Just WOW:heart_eyes:

  3. Just get lost mate, its far more fun discovering routes & quiet spots.

  4. Weekdays; yes, a great road, but keep an eye peeled for the law if getting a shift-on. At weekends I avoid it as I fear meeting an out of control 'weekend warrior' coming the other way.

  6. A very long time ago (1987) before smartphones and satnav I just followed my nose and ended up in one of the places in Brecon I'll never forget... In the middle of fecking nowhere in Wales I stopped and sat down for an hour admiring the scenery, close to a red phone booth, haven't seen a car or person pass by during that time, Wales is amazing!
