You know any details @Borgo Panigale there was the father and I think the son was involved Kaye senior must be getting on a bit. His engines and bikes, for that matter, are/were approved by MV owners club as genuine (old style) MVs. If I won the lottery I'd have 2 Kaye MV engines in Magni frames, the price of them would probably make yer eyes water big time. To my eye they are like up market Swiss watches, there might be other stuff that does the job better, but the sheer mechanical art is worth 10 old masters.
Dave Kay was the founder, builder of the first machine - over time the quality of his work won approval from Count Agusta's heirs and I think they hold some degree of sanction/licence to use the trademark.
