Wanted 39t Rear Sprocket - 520 Size For 749/999

  1. I need to replace the rear sprocket on my 749 trackbike - I have scoured the internet for a 39T 520 sprocket but nobody has one, or if they do, they are closed for August (Italy/omniaracing etc).

    Anybody got one lying around in their garage? Would consider 38T possibly (not replacing chain so can’t go bigger than 39).

    Need it to do a trackday on 3rd Sept.

  2. Cant remember what size I went up to on the rear of a 749/999, I will need to look.

    It made me look for 7th gear and would rev out with a much lowered speed...on track.

  5. Yep - first place I tried. None in stock and can’t do a custom one for a few weeks.

    I did manage to order an AFAM one from Bike Torque Racing but they called today to say “Errr..actually, we haven’t got one...soz”

    I have found that the sprocket is common to Scramblers and 899 Pani so have now found a steel JT one 39T 520 so I’ll get that as a temporary measure.
