Wanted - Forged wheels, aluminium for 848 - Discs too....

  1. In addition to my recent post about 848 forged magnesium wheels; I'd also be keen to get a aluminium set...

    I need a spare set to race the 848...

    I see that magnesium and aluminium both have advantages and disadvantages....

    I'll be happy with either, but not cast ones...

    If I don't find a front soon that comes with discs than we may be in business... :smile:

  4. 749 front fits too, and 916 etc rear from memory. If its for wets, anything will do ;-)

    Plan is to put wets on my current cast wheels and get something better for the dry... I've heard that 916 etc rear may fit if I change the rear claiper??

    How can you tell? Other than just looking at the sticker? Why are you not sure??

  12. compare the shape of the spokes to your one from America……which does appear to me to be a forged one…
