Anybody got one? Want to use one as a basis for making a tool for an STM Evo clutch and I reckon I could use a bit of an old hub to engage with my current clutch holding tool. Let me know before you put yours in a skip! @CRYSTALJOHN ?
Thanks all...much appreciated! I will gladly pay the postage/beer tokens if/when a suitable scrap hub is located in the dark depths of your man cave!
Thanks for looking! @Android853sp now’s your chance to get the coveted Ducatiforum Member of the Day Award!
irony here, as I know i have one from a 748 with a broken post but not up to shifting lots of heavy stuff while searching at the mo. You would be welcome R but wrong time-frame. I won't forget how you got those O.E.M. exhausts out from hibernation to help m e with my Type Approval.
My apologies, I was sure I had an abused 1098R clutch complete but have not been able to find it. I will keep searching because it’s bugging me. Andy
I know what you mean - I was sure I had an old buggered one lying around too but couldn’t find it at all! Thanks for looking!
Received the hub and set to in the garage today. Unfortunately, the required PCD of the 6 holes to align with the STM Evo pressure plate coincide almost exactly with the outer wall of the hub. This means that I cannot install the bolts that I wanted into the hub. I am currently fabricating an alternative solution with a 5mm plate of 2024-T351 aluminium alloy that I liberated from the scrap bin at Airbus in the 1980’s. Nearly done, pics to follow shortly if anybody is interested.
