V4 Warped Front Disc

  1. One or both of my front brake discs are slightly warped. Having only covered 5k miles on a 21 plate, would a replacement be covered under Ducati warranty? Thanks.

  2. Pretty sure, yes. I had a 1098R that was out of warranty and I got new discs under warranty. Which was mighty fine of them… :)

  3. There's been a few on here that have had warped discs replaced under warranty.

IIRC, someone paid the difference between standard discs and the Series ORO version. If you have that option and it's not silly money, go for it.

  4. Which pads are you using as I am just about to put in the pads from the PP to my V4s .

  5. Hmm, I’m not sure, they’ll be the OEM ones factory fitted I presume.

  6. That was me. Well worth the upgrade. Ducati paid for the discs, but I paid for the Brembo racing pads to be changed at the same time.

  7. Mine were replaced under warranty .

  8. I ran Series ORO and Brembo reds on my 1260. The discs still have loads of life left in them, so they’ll move across to the V4 after the 1st service.

  10. :joy: Sod off, I’m still pissed off with you, every mod that you post costs me money! First it was the carbon screen deflectors and yesterday my CNC caliper spacers came. I didn’t full ‘tarts handbag’ though and got black instead.

I did think about getting a new pair of discs, but mine have got about 5000 miles on them…..

  11. :joy:

I won’t post about any of the extra carbon I’ve ordered then!

  12. Despite my protestations, I’m intrigued!
