Not that I’m in the market but I got a brochure for the 1260 Super Adventure on my copy of BIKE magazine this month and I noticed they do an extended warranty you can renew for up to 12 years, fully transferable (80,000km in total) I know most people don’t keep their bikes that long but it’s something that would give peace of mind on SH bikes. However given KTMs aggressive discounting you will probably be able to get a bargain in the SH market in a few years anyway
Porsche do a similar extended warranty for a gazillion years. But, and it’s a big but for me, you can’t modify your car in any way. Everything must remain Porsche OE. Any tuning mod is out the question. I’ve got a KTM too so it would be interesting to see what warranty requirements are.
No idea, just noticed it in their marketing material, can’t imagine it’s that cheap over the life of the bike. Given my expensive claims with Ducati warranties over the years it’s something I’d at least consider if they offered something similar
If its the same as the warranty I had on my 1090 adv R a couple of years back, it is basically open ended as long as you use franchised dealers to carry out recommended servicing. There was no extra charge apart from getting bummed at dealer labour rates.
