Thats weird. Mine just presented the very same thing. I assume its saying it thinks its service time ?
On that note. If I do a service myself, is there any way to reset the timer? It's counting down to a service interval on my dash
It is due a service, which has been done, and it’s going to a Ducati specialist for its first MOT and hopefully reset the service light too. i was thinking it looked like a battery...
Think it's like a calender, indicating that a service is due because of a time scale rather than mileage. A dealer will only reset if they've done the service.
I had that when I went overdue on a service, I had actually done the service myself and in my opinion just as good or better than a dealer as I take great care and use all the proper parts. Luckily I know someone who actually has the kit to turn the light off and has done just last month.
Would rolling the date back a year sort this service display issue ? Edit: Well it did on mine, dunno if it will last though ? I know the bike does not actually need servicing
It must be overloaded with dust, poor thing ha been sat in the garage for just under 12 months, without a battery charger too, I was well impressed when it barked into like on first press of the button. Passed its first MOT today
