I have a new to me 2005 Multistrada 100DS. Virtually every time I go out on it, after a bit, anything from a few hundred yards to 2-3 miles it cuts out. Engine management light on, ign light on and no go! Stop; fiddle around for an hour or two looking for neutral :biggrin: and then switch offn: and it restarts and so far its been alright for the rest of the ride. At first I wondered if it had anything to do with the map as it appeared to coincide with the oil temp display going from "LO" to a figure but the last time it happened the oil temp was registering. Before I throw my credit cards at the local dealer, does anyone have any suggestions. Bike was only serviced and new belts a month ago, although I cant see if that would make any difference, but what do I know. Thanks P
Can you check to see if any error codes are coming up. Not sure on a multi but will be something like ignition off hold a button on dash turn igniton to on and it will give fault code. Then start from there I suppose.
