  1. Took the 1098s down to the dealers to have some new rear sets put on and change my front pads. My dealer is really cool and they let me work on the bike under supervision and one of the jobs we did was do clean out the clutch dust etc. Well my friction plates are pretty low and my clutch basket is knackered . More money :frown:. Ive two more trackdays, one in a few weeks and one in October (but I may not take the Ducati to that one) to I should be able to put the job off under the early part of winter. Whilst it was up on the ramp I noticed that one of the exhaust springs has gone awol as well :mad:

I have been thinking about getting a slipper clutch and this has just given me the drive (excuse the pun) to do so. I wonder if Sigma do a payment plan?
Any ideas about the basket? Ive head mention of a new basket with a steel cradle. Any ideas? :upyeah:

  2. 48 tooth basket to spread the load......especially if you need to buy new friction plates.............

  3. Technically I wish I knew what you were talking about

But I'd recommend a slipper clutch all day long if you were thinking of fitting one :upyeah:
