I was washing the bike this morning (1260 pp) and noticed this tucked under the edge of the tank panels to the left of the clocks - anyone know what it is? Appears to be floating around and am guessing it should be attached somehow?
Is it part of the DMS: "Ducati Multimedia System (DMS) is the infotainment system that many Ducati models are equipped with, either as standard or as an optional. The system comprises a Bluetooth control unit that, once installed on the bike, allows for connection to a smartphone, rider’s helmet earpiece, passenger’s helmet earpiece or Ducati navigator." ? Apologies in advance if wrong! Tom. PS. If it is the Bluetooth control unit, the Dual Lock looks like a Velcro type fastener as said in post #3, and showed in the link below: https://www.stein-dinse.biz/product_info.php?products_id=465954 .
There might be a Ducati part number on the top part of the white wrap around label, and if so that should help identify what it is. Hope it helps. Tom.
