  3. Always fancied one of these little SAABs but they are kind of difficult to obtain - hardly ever come up for sale.

Lambretta Vega. Always loved these. Styled by Bertone. Who also did the GP200 Lambretta. Ive been a Bertone fan since I got a Muira toy when I was really wee.

Lancia collaborated with Zagato on many cars but the above two are arguably the most "oddball". Owned 3 of the above and worked on/drove dozens over the years. Most delightful to own and drive was the 1200 version with aluminium body.

  10. That’s probably one of it’s best views, it was the front that only a mother could love particularly on the early cars.

  12. My brother in law did a nut & bolt resto on a genuine Stratos. What a thing!

  16. I had one of these back in the day…

Obsessed with it I was , that’s why I had this painting done of the actual car, one of my mates knew someone who used to do this kind of stuff.
1973 Datsun 240Z,…absolutely bloody fantastic it was, did a fair bit of work to it, new front chassis rail, new wings, bonnet and nose cones, ( they were noted rot-boxes ) Koni shock absorbers, full Janspeed exhaust system, Corbeau bucket seats.
I was in my early twenties when I had this and I had the time of my life with it, proper fa#@y magnet it was and I used it to the full ;) !
Wish I could turn the clock back to that era and do it all again :D ….worth a bloody fortune they are now:confused:
