Rode from Gloucester to Reading on my new bike, a 2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200S. And wow, what a bike. When I got to Reading, I had a bunch of stop offs to make to show off the new wheels. In urban mode it's bloody brilliant! Got onto some A and B roads, sports mode. Bliss! Like shit off a shovel! Touring mode gave me a relaxed journey when I first picked it up. Fuel average consumption was 35.8mpg, bloody great considering I was averaging around 90ish on the 80 mile trip home and in town at Reading I was throwing it all over the place. Overall, glad to be back on 2 wheels! Bring on spring!
