just read another i am getting rid thread due to reliability issues. in over 20k between the two and apart from an intermittent non start issue for two years with the fugly which to be fair i was actually in the process of getting rid myself due to the fault but diagnosed by myself after putting a deposit on another bike, i decided to keep it. the servicing record aint the best (frequency not dealer) been kept out in all weathers especially the fugly rarely washed, never kept under a blanky in a heated dehumidified carpeted garage or living room for that matter. being in the motor trade i appreciate things go wrong especially in the first two years. but for ffs give me summit to fix!. fugly coming on 8 years old, 848 over two years old.

My mate thought his under serviced 999s was indestructible . 4 laps of the nurburgring put pay to that myth .
