What Are These?

    Think the long pipe is off a 999.
    Are the fuel cap and air filters also 999?
    Really hoping the middle section is off a 916.

  6. Actually they may be boots...reckon yiu are right, mid pipes from a 748/916 45mm std ones

  7. the mid section looks like my 748 one but im not sure bout the tabs dont remember them (an im too lazy too go look!) you say you hope they are i take it you need some?

  9. Yep, I bought a set of 45mm pipes a few weeks back only to discover I have a 45-50mm setup already. These will mean I can put the 45mm race cans on while saving up for a 50mm set of cans.

    I seem to make everything complicated.

  11. It comes from not really knowing what your doing. But at least and acknowledge I don't know what I'm doing which means I will listen and learn. Therefore, one day (soon hopefully for all concerned) I will know what I'm doing.

    Main problem currently is the more I learn the more I realize how little I know.

  15. Before you fit them - Check all the welds where the mounting tabs join to the pipes, they are prone to cracking. Including the one between the two pipes that the heat shield mounts onto.
