What Is This Connector?

  1. Hey there. I have a 2005 Ducati Monster 1000ds. I was looking over the battery and noticed this connector nearby (pictured). I'm wondering if it's a connector to the battery for a trickle charger or is it a just a standard power connector? No experience with this so appreciate any help.

  4. Agree with the other replies, looks the same as the diagnostics connector on mt 1198S.

  5. Those Tyco Superseals are some good kit .

    In most applications they are connected to their "other half" , but it wouldn't be connected to anything if it is the diagnostic port .

    The black cap should completely cover that yellow " concertina " seal .
    That's the feature that makes them so darned good for keeping water out .

    So yes , I'd say diagnostic connector :)
