Hello folks, was knocked off the bike in December and the insurers have said they will repair it, thankfully. Of the few things that came off the bike, I remember a grey plastic casing about the size of coke can and shaped like bathtub. It looked like it could possible be a protective cover for some kind of ECU port. Anyone know what this part of the bike is? It's now in the dealership getting repaired and I'd like to double check that they will be replacing it.
Do you mean this? It's the Evaporative Emissions Canister located on the front left of the engine below the fairing.
Could've possibly been related to it in some way but the part had no mechanical parts. I think it had a little arrow or grip on it, similar to the back of a TV remote to indicate that it clicks/slides off.
Possibly could've been that but I'm sure it was grey in colour. I don't think the seat came off in the collision though. That's under the seat right?
